Looks Like Fun December 1, 2008 LuLu (GA) I purchased this for my son for Christmas to go along with the Force Unleashed game. It looked like it would be really neat, so I hope it works well for him.
The kids will have fun, just not during the game. November 30, 2008 Fragle Rock (Lost Angels, Cali) The Thrustmaster Glow Saber Duo Pack get's a lot of use in our house, just not while playing Star Wars Force Unleashed. The kids find it hard to swing while in game play. On the flip side, they love to use them as lightsabers battling each other. For the cost, their well worth it in the end.
These lightsabers SUCK! November 25, 2008 Mom of Four (Texas) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
The idea behind these is cool. But, the problem is, Thrustmaster didn't think this through. The sensor on the Wii remote is covered when you add the light sabers to it. So, the lightsaber lights up, but that's it. Your characters lightsaber will NOT move! The light is blocked, you'll have to take the lightsaber off to make it work! Do not buy this product for any game that requires the Wii remotes sensor light (which is basically all of them, right?).
My grandson loved it! November 22, 2008 Carol ANN GELLERMAN (Bettendorf, Iowa) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
My grandson loved this light saber set for the WII. He said they were really good quality - and believe me, for a 10 year old who loves Star Wars and knows everything about it, he knows.
THE COLOR PAPER ON THE BLADES IS ONLY FOR IN BOX DISPLAY! November 12, 2008 A. Cummings (US) 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
The paper on the blades is only there to give the customer an idea of what they'll look like after you take them out of the box, unwrap them and turn them on. The paper is not meant to be kept on! I've had these for a few weeks. I bought them for my daughter and I to use when we play the most recent Star Wars games. They look very cool. Using them makes game play feel more realistic and enjoyable. It's obviously not going to be as comfortable to hold as a wii remote is. My daughter really likes them too but she says it might take some time to get used to because they feel heavy. She's 7.
